JULIE Robinson (Short Takes, 16/8), I respect your opinion, but you don't know me and have no right to judge me. I'm just having my opinion and explaining how the world is rapidly changing and it's hard to keep up with it. I guarantee that I wouldn't be the only person that's finding it strange to deal with. Times have certainly changed. But one thing is for certain... I don't need a reply as if you're my mother.

IT is an old expression "put a sock in it" meaning stop squabbling etc. Nothing sinister. Perhaps Alan Jones meant to express it that way.

SO Scott Morrison has shown his Christian morals and ethics at the Pacific forum. He has shown that money is more important than people. He should go and read the story of the "good Samaritan" he might learn something, or not, about morals and ethics and empathy, and read the story of the money lenders in the temple. You can't be Christian in name alone.

I WOULD like to thank the Knights and Keolis Downer for providing the free shuttle buses to the Knights home games. The shuttle service has proven to be a great success. I've used it from Hamilton and return for all games and each bus has been full. I guess its success can be gauged by the lack of letters to the editor complaining about the service - which is a rare thing in itself.

IAN Wright asks why there are no referees to officiate at sporting matches (Letters, 17/8). Abuse from spectators and abuse and dissent from players are two reasons. Maybe Ian, if you feel so strongly about this issue, you could find the time to be trained in match officiating and then turn up to cop crap from spectators and players. Reading between the lines here Ian, it sounds like the result didn't go your way last weekend.
