Surf to be best during the mornings lighter winds but shallow low tide may cause a few close outs. Conditions will get choppy by mid day as the seabreeze freshens so try the northern facing breaks. Swell swinging back to the S/E to East at 1 to 1.5m. Wind light North tending N/E. Most beaches banks will suit the change in direction and try off Newcastle Beach, Cliff and Dixon. Bar Beach towards the high tide. Burwood, Redhead and Frenchmans to the south. Birubi and Seals Rocks area to the north. Water has warmed back up and slight sweeps running to the south. Only swim at patrolled beaches.Water temp 23C.
