NSW RFS has downgraded a bushfire that closed the Pacific Motorway on Tuesday afternoon from Watch and Act to Advice as conditions eased into the evening.

The fire is burning on the eastern side of the M1 Pacific Motorway at Freemans Waterhole, near Palmers Road.
Around 64 firefighters were called to the scene around 3.40pm where crews set about controlling the fire, which has blackened around nine hectares.
One lane was closed in each direction on the Pacific Motorway around 5.30pm, causing traffic delays.
All lane re-opened a short time later.
Traffic is still heavy so motorists should continue to allow plenty of extra travel time.
Around 44 RFS members are being assisted by 20 firefighters from NSW Fire and Rescue.
Strong winds had pushed the fire in an north-easterly direction, prompting property threat warnings for residents Wakefield Road, McCanns Road and Miller Road.
Residents in the area have now been advised to monitor conditions, and to be prepared with a bushfire survival plan.
