UPDATE 9.30AM: One of two northbound lanes has now reopened on the M1 motorway near Mooney Mooney Creek Bridge after an earlier truck crash.
Allow extra travel time and expect delays.
INITIAL REPORT
A TRUCK has jackknifed on the M1 motorway, closing all northbound lanes near Kariong.
The crash happened about 8.20am on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the scene and on arrival found no one trapped. According to early reports from Fire and Rescue NSW no one was injured in the incident.
The M1 is closed approaching Mooney Mooney Creek Bridge.
Northbound motorists can use Peats Ridge Road at Calga to join the M1 motorway at Somersby
Drivers are asked to allow extra travel time, with traffic queues already reaching five kilometres.
