SOMETHING SPECIAL In news that is certain to excite Beatles devotees, four members from Australia's biggest early 2000s rock bands are uniting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four's legendary finale, Abbey Road. Kram (Spiderbait), Darren Middleton (Powderfinger), Davey Lane (You Am I) and Mark Wilson (Jet) have formed the supergroup Arc to perform Abbey Road start to finish at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on August 20.

WILD NIGHT Television personality Andrew O'Keefe is bringing the music of his legendary uncle and Australian rock'n'roll pioneer, Johnny O'Keefe, back to life. Andrew O'Keefe Shouts Johnny O'Keefe debuted at the 2018 Adelaide Cabaret Festival and is going national later this year. Newcastle audiences have their chance to hear renditions of the hits Wild One and Shout on November 22 at the Civic Theatre.
KEEP THE FAITH Byron Bay-based American singer-songwriter Toni Childs will return to the Hunter on April 13 to perform at the Cessnock Performing Arts Centre. Childs is celebrating her 1988 debut album Union, which spawned the hits Don't Walk Away and Stop Your Fussin'.
KICK-OFF The Stag and Hunter Hotel audience will be the first to hear emerging Sydney indie artist Lisa Caruso perform her new single A Holiday, when she launches her tour at the Mayfield venue on March 30.
PORTSIDE The winter months are usually quiet in Port Stephens, but the Shoal Bay Country Club is keeping the live music pumping. Soul diva Lisa Hunt is performing on June 14, followed by pub rock royalty The Choirboys on June 22.
