First up, this is undoubtedly O's best vocal performance. At various times she's vulnerable (Reveries), soulful (Turn The Light) and powerful (Woman). Burton, in turn, has developed a dreamy psychedelic and soulful soundscape to support O and it's never overstated, but contains enough surprises to keep you invested.
Lux Prima doesn't explode with the excitement of YYY's finest moments like Fever To Tell, but O lulls you into the journey through subtly.
