NSW police charged a man at Granville on Tuesday following extensive inquiries and an appeal for public assistance in the Hunter region on Monday.

Police commenced the investigation to local the 22 year-old man, who was wanted over a revocation of parole warrant, and issued an appeal for information from the public in Newcastle and the Hunter region on Monday.
Following extensive inquiries, specialist officers from the Public Order and Riot Squad arrested the man at a South Granville home about 9.30pm Monday night.
He was taken to Granville Police Station where he was charged with with the warrant.
The man was refused bail and was expected to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday.
