The driver of a white Mitsubishi Lancer has been taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries in a crash on Maitland Road on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 12.20pm after reports two vehicles had been involved in a crash near the Hexham Bowling Club on Maitland Road.
Two NSW Ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene where paramedics treated one patient and later transported them to John Hunter Hospital.
The patient is believed to be in a stable condition.
One of three lanes travelling towards Newcastle had to be closed as a result of the crash, NSW police said. Drivers in the area were advised to travel cautiously around the scene.
The lane was re-opened a short time later.
Heavy traffic conditions are expected over Easter around Hexham, Tarro and Salt Ash on Nelson Bay Road as holidayers head out of the city for the long weekend.
