As New Lambton extended their unbeaten streak to nine outings with a 7-0 demolition of Adamstown, the only complaint Eagles coach Keelan Hamilton had was the use of Adamstown No.2.

Newcastle Jets striker and former Matildas player Tara Andrews bagged four goals in her return from a two-game absence, former Adamstown player Lauren Allan produced a match brace and Sophie Jones also got on the scoresheet as New Lambton executed another dominant display.
But Hamilton described the pitch as "the biggest disappointment of the game", saying it was much smaller than a regular senior field and of sub-par condition.
"It devalues the competition and shows no respect to the players," Hamilton said.
The Eagles, who moved to 27 points atop the Herald Women's Premier League standings with the win, led 3-0 at half-time.
Jets players Cassidy Davis and Jenna Kingsley produced match doubles and Tara Pender and Nadja Squires also scored as second-placed Warners Bay moved to 24 points with a 6-1 win over Thornton at John Street Oval. Ainsley Childs scored for the Redbacks.
South Wallsend came from 1-0 down to beat Wallsend 3-1 at The Gardens. The win put a six-point gap between the top-four contenders and could prove an important victory for the Wolves, who moved to 21 points while Wallsend stayed on 15.
Laura Hall opened the scoring in the 25th minute when she finished into an open goal from just inside the 18-yard box after Wolves goalkeeper Jess Sanderson had rushed out to clear the ball only for it to be deflected into the path of the advancing Wallsend striker.
Maryjane Mason produced an equaliser with a back-stick tap-in in the 46th minute directly after play was delayed for around five minutes for injured teammate Gaby Deacon to be treated.
But Ash Brodigan scored in the 51st and 54th minutes to finish the game.
Rhali Dobson and Leah Giuffre produced hat-tricks as Merewether moved to 18 points and ahead of Wallsend into fourth place with an 8-0 victory over Mid North Coast. Nicki Jones and Alison Logue also scored.
