Two of nine people charged when they were allegedly found with weapons soon after a reported attempted home invasion at Valentine in the early hours of Saturday morning have faced Belmont local court.

Kalib Toko and Oscar Billy Conway were each charged with affray and being armed with the intent to commit an indictable offence.
Mr Toko pleaded not guilty to both counts. He did not apply for bail and it was formally refused.
Mr Conway did not enter any pleas. He was granted conditional bail, meaning he is not allowed to contact his co-accused or any prosecution witnesses. He must also report daily to police and cannot enter Valentine.

Both men will face court again on June 26. Their co-accused will face court later this month.
The group was arrested after an alleged attempted armed home invasion at Berringar Road about 12.30am Saturday.
Soon after, police allegedly found the group in two cars at Tallawalla Road - one street away - in possession of a shotgun and several baseball bats.
