Few shorebreaks for the high tide at Newcastle Beach, South Bar and Pogos. Merewether and Dixon on the runout tide.

Burwood, Dudley and Moonie to the south. Samurai and One Mile up at Port Stephens. Try Cowrie on the afternoon high tide.

Still warmer in for a swim than out during the morning. Slight sweeps and erosion at Merewether. Water temperature 20C.
