Virginia Cuppaidge is an Australian artist who has also been an international figure for the last 40 years, though unlike the Francophiles Rupert Bunny and John Russell in an earlier generation, she has regularly exhibited her vibrant abstract paintings in Australia as well as in New York, where she has lived since 1969.
