Swell still from the south-southeast at 1 to 1.5m. Wind north to north-west swinging south-east to east for the afternoon.
First up check out the reefs at Cowrie, Bar Beach and Merewether. Newcastle Beach off the Alley and Nobbys on the run out tide. Burwood, Redhead and Frenchmans to the south. Samurai and One Mile up at Port Stephens.
Crystal clear water with erosion at Merewether. Swim in the flags at the patrolled beaches that are opened.
