A seven-year-old girl has been left with leg fractures after being trampled by a horse on a property in the Upper Hunter at the weekend.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was called to a property east of Quirindi on Saturday afternoon following the incident.
NSW Ambluance paramedics and the helicopter's critical care medical team stabilised the girl before she was flown to John Hunter Hospital.
She was in a stable condition at the time.
