The undefeated Novocastrians meet Metro South West at Liverpool City Hockey Complex on Monday (8:30am) for a spot in the title decider later that same afternoon.
Illawarra South Coast and Lithgow clash in the second semi-final (9:45am).
Willott has been impressed with his squad's showing so far at the 2019 tournament and hopes to progress further than last year's 2-1 semi-final loss to North West Sydney.
"It'll be tough because they [Metro South West] have got a decent side, but if we play how we have been playing then we'll give ourselves a good chance of going through," the Newcastle mentor said.
During the preliminary rounds across Saturday and Sunday, Newcastle easily accounted for Lithgow (4-1), Tamworth (4-3) and Sydney East (4-1) while edging past North West Sydney (4-3).
However, it has been contrasting results for a winless Newcastle women's team at the NSW State Championships in Bathurst and they will try to avoid division-one relegation on Monday.
