A B-double lost control and crashed just before 5am on Tuesday at Coolongolook. The incident shutdown southbound lanes of the Pacific Highway for some time, but as of 7.30am a contra flow had been put in place.
Traffic in both directions has been taking it in turns to use a northbound lane on the highway between Melaleuca Drive and Willina Road.
Drivers have been asked to exercise caution and allow extra travel time as traffic remains heavy.
The vehicle salvage operation is expected to take some time.
