The title track dabbles in the white funk of David Bowie and INXS, but plods too long to ignite the dance floor. However, Gallagher flexes his melodic strength, which has always underpinned his songs. Rattling Rose is the highlight, driven by Americana rhythms and a hypnotic melody. Sail On is a pretty enough calypso folk song, but leaves you hanging for an Oasis anthem by the end.
