Tides just starting to change and run out if in for the early surf. Try reefs at Bar Beach and Merewether. Shorebreaks at Pogos and Dixon. Redhead, Catho and Fraser to the south.
Birubi and Samurai up at Port Stephens. Slight sweeps to the north has spread the kelp along the Bar Beach to Merewether stretch. Nobbys best for a swim in the patrolled area.
