After going through a "ring of fire" in returning to competitive swimming, Newcastle's Thomas Fraser-Holmes has returned to the national Dolphins squad by qualifying for next month's World Championships in South Korea.

The 27-year-old won the men's 400 metre individual medley in Brisbane on Friday night with a time of four minutes and 14.68 seconds. It was 0.36s inside the required mark.
The two-time Olympian had a 12-month ban from June, 2017 for missed drug tests.
"I've been through a burning ring of fire to get here so I wasn't going to let it slip," Fraser-Holmes said in his post-race interview.
"I made the [Australian] short course team last year but it's so good to be back on the long course team.
"I'm very luck and very happy."
Fraser-Holmes also gave a shout out to his "family and friends" who have "supported" his comeback to the sport.
He was first at each turn with splits of 58.74, 2:01.44 and 3:13.96 at the 100, 200 and 300 metre marks.
The world championships will be held in Gwangju from July 12 to 28.
