A man will face court after allegedly threatening members of the public and police while armed with two knives and a table leg.

About 12.45pm Tuesday two detectives were at a shopping centre at The Entrance when they spotted a man, armed with two knives and a large table leg, acting aggressively and approaching a nearby bus.
The officers approached him and, due to his aggressive behaviour, drew their firearms and arrested the man.
During the arrest, police will allege the man struggled with officers and tried to pull out a third knife from his pants.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man was taken to Wyong police station, where he was charged with seven offences, including:
- have custody of an offensive implement in a public place,
- custody of knife in public place,
- drive motor vehicle during disqualification period,
- drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous,
- wield knife in a public place,
- resist officer in execution of duty, and
- possess prohibited drug.
Police will allege in court the man was also threatening members of the public, while armed with the weapons, in George Street, East Gosford, and in Fairview Avenue, The Entrance, earlier the same day.
The man was refused bail to appear at Wyong Local Court on Wednesday.
