A CRASH involving a truck and a ute has caused long traffic delays on the Pacific Highway at Gateshead.

Emergency services were called to the scene just after 1.30pm on Wednesday to reports of a collision between a truck and two cars.
The incident occurred near the corner of Oakdale Road and has affected traffic travelling southbound along the highway.
Paramedics assessed several people at the scene, but no one required further medical attention.
Drivers have been asked to allow extra travel time and to expect delays as the crash site is cleared.
Roads and Maritime Services remained on scene at 2.30pm.
