Dressed in a blue suit and matching tie, Mr Hayne, 31, appeared briefly in the Newcastle Local Court on Wednesday.
Defence lawyer Leo Premutico advised the court that Mr Hayne was ready to be committed on a charge of sexual intercourse without consent.
He has previously been committed on a charge of aggravated sexual assault inflicting actual bodily harm, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
Police allege Mr Hayne had sex with a 26-year-old woman without her consent and knowing that she wasn't consenting in Newcastle in September 2018, and during the alleged rape inflicted actual bodily harm.
Magistrate Robert Stone continued Mr Hayne's bail and adjourned the matter until Wednesday, July 3.
