The Lake Macquarie man found a winning Keno ticket while cleaning his car, and a quick check revealed it was a winning entry, with prizemoney of more than $1.4 million.
"I had no idea whatsoever," the man said after finding the Keno 10 Spot winning entry in his car earlier this week.
"I've had a successful afternoon."
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, bought the entry at Dora Creek & District Workers Club in game 750 on June 23.
Bar manager Brad Thompson said there had been a buzz in the club as patrons waited for the winner to discover their windfall.
The winner meanwhile, is not sure what he will do with the money.
"I honestly don't know just how I'll use it just yet, but I'm sure it will come in very handy," he said.
