The former NRL player and 2001 Knights premiership winner suffered the medial ligament setback in Macquarie's victory over his previous club Kurri Kurri away on June 22.
The 38-year-old, who was man-of-the-match in Macquarie's 2017 grand final triumph, has been wearing a leg brace.
He had recently switched from the forward pack to fill in at five-eighth for the Scorpions.
