THE SCORPIONS have lost some sting from their squad this month with Daniel Abraham set to be sidelined for July because of a knee injury.
The former NRL player and 2001 Knights premiership winner suffered the medial ligament setback in Macquarie's victory over his previous club Kurri Kurri away on June 22.
The 38-year-old, who was man-of-the-match in Macquarie's 2017 grand final triumph, has been wearing a leg brace.
He had recently switched from the forward pack to fill in at five-eighth for the Scorpions.
