SMOOTH It's been 13 long years since Brisbane hip-hop lads Butterfingers released their second and last album The Deeper You Dig. Finally album No.3 is in the works and fans have an opportunity to sample the new material, plus old favourites FIGJAM, I Love Work and Everytime when Butterfingers perform at the Newcastle Hotel on August 17.
STATE OF REVIVAL Do you remember Newcastle rockers Head Of State? It's been nine years since Ty Brennock (bass), Levi Dallen (drums), Murray Dickinson (vocals, guitar) and Tim Marriott (guitar) called it quits after hundreds of gigs along the east coast and support shows with Spoon (USA), The Drones, The Sleepy Jackson, Wolf & Cub and Shihad (NZ).
Following a catch-up in Melbourne, Brennock and Marriott decided for one night only to get Head Of State back together on July 13 at the Cambridge Hotel.
