LAKES centre Callan Guest won't play again this Newcastle Rugby League season after needing four metal plates to help mend a broken jaw in surgery this week.
Guest has now returned home from hospital following the procedure after first arriving on Sunday, taken from Cahill Oval midway through the second half during a 40-26 comeback win over Maitland.
Guest joins Jarrod Holmgreen and Jamie Ghoulmieh on the long-term injured list at Belmont with both previously damaging anterior cruciate ligaments.
