MEREWETHER Baths may not be the natural habitat of the wallaroo, but Australia's top rugby players made themselves at home in the picturesque spot on Wednesday morning.

The Wallaroos players took a mid-winter swim as part of their training regime in the lead-up to Saturday's Test match against Japan.

On Thursday the team will train alongside members of the Australian Defence Force Women's team in Merewether.
The ADF side will play their New Zealand counterparts in a curtain-raiser before the Wallaroos take on the Cherry Blossoms.
Australia plays Japan at No. 2 Sportsground on Saturday.
Gates open 11am, with kick-off at 3pm.
