The Newcastle Jets goalkeeper was one of four shot stoppers included in the 30-man training squad for Canberra (July 28-August 2) and one of five overall with Kai Calderbank-Park away for English club Burnley.
Young Socceroos coach and former Jets mentor Gary van Egmond will cut the squad back to 23 players for the under-18 Asian Championships in Vietnam from August 6.
Australia will take on Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and the hosts during the group stage.
The tournament doubles as a step in the qualification process for the under-20 World Cup in 2021.
"The next month represents an exciting opportunity for all the players that have been selected," van Egmond told FFA media.
"Our camp in Canberra combined with the 2019 AFF U-18 Championship in Vietnam represents the start of our process to qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2021."
