Given the automatic one-game ban for earlier getting two yellow cards, Smith was effectively given just two matches for the headbutt, which sent Bailey to the turf.
Smith was given the same charge and penalty as Weston's Zac Sneddon for his scuffle with Luke Remington.
Bailey has also served a three-game ban this season. He was red carded after seemingly defending himself against a shove, which earned him two games, and he copped an extra week for card accumulation.
** Could Chelsea legend Didier Drogba play in the NNSW NPL next year?
The possibility was tossed up during Bar TV commentary of the Jaffas v Broadmeadow match on Saturday.
The rumour was the 41-year-old wine connoisseur may move here and he was keen to play locally, potentially with Magic.
Back of the Net was unable to substantiate the rumour but word is that incoming Magic coach Anthony Richards may pick up a striker much closer to home - 2018 top scorer and Graham Jennings medallist Sam Walker.
** The Bears will use their friendly against Central Coast Mariners on Friday night at Weston Park to get minutes into fringe and underdone players.
Assistant coach Craig Stoker said Zac Sneddon, Scott Carter and Liam Wilson would feature for second-placed Weston, who don't play the spare weekend. Sneddon has one more game to serve on his suspension, while Carter and Wilson are back from bans. Entry is free for the 7pm match.
