Jackson Baker dominated in-form qualifying series competitor Morgan Cibilic in the final to claim his second Ray Richards Memorial Man on Man crown at Merewether on Sunday.
Baker, who won the Merewether Surfboard Club event in 2017, comboed Cibilic in the decider 17.67 to 11.36 with waves scores of 9.17 and 8.5.
Cibilic was fresh from a career-best effort on the QS at the US Open of Surfing, where he made round four to climb 57 spots to 73rd in the series.
Baker defeated Mitchel Ross, Jackson Brent, Sunny Whitby-Otto and Oliver Ryssenbeek to make the decider, while Cibilic beat Luis Stackhouse, Gus Nicholson, Luke Egan and Jesse Adam.
