Lake Macquarie head coach Nick Webb said a breach of trust was behind his decision to resign.

Webb, who will finish his second season in charge of the NPL side on Sunday when the Roosters travel to Weston, said he informed the Roosters of his decision on Monday.
"There were a few things going on the background that I wasn't happy with and, like in any club, you get a bit of politics, but once your trust is broken - I'm a bit of a stickler for that," Webb said.
"Once it's broken, you're better off pulling the pin."
Webb did not want to go into detail about the reasons behind the decision but said it was disappointing to walk away. The Roosters were eighth on 20 points last year and are 10th on 12 this year with a budget Webb said was half of those of the top clubs.
"The next year wasn't going to get any easier," he said.
"We're not one of the most affluent clubs but you can start to see some of the young boys I've brought in getting bigger and better, and who knows what can happen next year.
"That's the most disappointing part because I've got a good relationship with 90 per cent of the players."
** Charlestown announced on Monday that coach David Tanchevski had been re-signed for 2020, but it's believed his future at the club is far from assured.
The Newcastle Herald understands a group of long-time supporters plan to attend the club's AGM to vote in a new committee which will then sack Tanchevski. They have already sounded out three replacements.
In his second year in charge, Tanchevski has the Blues in third spot and close to making the NPL finals.
** The exciting last-round finish to the NNSW NPL is testing the maths skills of football pundits.
Let's break it down. The premiership is down to Maitland (40) and Edgeworth (38). Given their superior for and against, the Eagles will beat Maitland if they defeat Jaffas and the Magpies lose or draw to Jets Youth. You'd be backing the Magpies to win the title.
Both are also safely in the top four. Charlestown, Jaffas and Broadmeadow can catch Edgeworth but not all at the same time because the Blues play Magic and only one can potentially overtake them. Therefore, Charlestown (36), Jaffas (35), Broadmeadow (35) and Weston (34) are fighting for two spots.
Charlestown, Jaffas and Magic are in if they win, but draws will leave them vulnerable. Magic and Weston obviously need a result, but the Bears could still miss out even if they go to 37 points with victory over Lakes.
For the record, my tip is Maitland, Edgeworth and Weston to win and Charlestown and Magic to draw, leaving the top four of Magpies (43), Eagles (41), Blues and Weston (37), with Broadmeadow (36) and Jaffas (35) the unlucky pair.
Good luck with your predictions.
