Shortly after 5.30am on Saturday, August 3, the two men, with their faces covered, entered a shop on Liamena Avenue at San Remo and threatened a female employee with a firearm.
The men demanded cash and cigarettes, police said. The pair fled the scene through a nearby park.
One man has already been charged in relation to the matter and is before the courts.
On Tuesday, police appealed for public help to catch the second man, releasing a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He's described as being between 175cm and 180cm tall, with a slim build and bushy eyebrows. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black hooded jumper, black trackpants, with a white scarf covering his face and carried a black 'Nike' sports bag.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Wyong police station on 4359 6099 or to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
