Man dies after car hits tree in Hunter Valley
A man has died after his car crashed into a tree in the Hunter Valley.

About 4.30pm on Monday, a Mazda 3 was travelling on Noblet Street, Scone, when it crossed onto a dirt access road and crashed into a tree, NSW Police said in a statement.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 66-year-old man, was treated at the scene before being taken to Scone Hospital where he died a short time later.
Officers from Hunter Valley Police District are investigating the incident and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
