NSW Police confirmed on Friday that the Northern Region, which includes the Hunter, would take the lion's share of graduates.
"These new probationary constables will join their Commands on Monday, after months of training away from their homes and families," Commissioner Mick Fuller said.
"I have no doubt that every day will prove both challenging and rewarding for these recruits as they begin their career as police officers.
"They will be stationed right across the state where they will spend the next 12 months learning what it truly means to wear the two-blues uniform."
From the new class four officers will head to Brisbane Water, five will work in Hunter Valley police district, six in Lake Macquarie. Five will join each of Newcastle, Tuggerah Lakes and Port Stephens-Hunter.
The Hunter probationary constables come from a total allocation of 269 officers, and make up part of the largest regional allocation in the state as Northern Region welcomes a total of 57 officers.
Southern Region adds 41 officers and Western Region 34 while Central Metropolitan takes 33, North West Metropolitan 53 and South West Metropolitan 51.
