Defending champions Broadmeadow will take confidence from their strong home record this season when they meet Charlestown in a do-or-die final-round clash at Magic Park on Sunday.
Magic are fifth on 35 points, two goals behind Lambton Jaffas and a point shy of Charlestown. Weston (34) are also in NNSW NPL finals contention.
Premiership hopefuls Maitland (40) and Edgeworth (38) are safely in the top four, leaving Charlestown, Jaffas, Magic and Weston to battle for two spots on Sunday.
Like Jaffas, who host Edgeworth, the equation is simple for Broadmeadow and Charlestown. Win and you're in. Draw and you rely on other results.
The Bears must beat Lake Macquarie at Weston Park to have any chance of making finals, but they can still miss out with a win. Read more here.
