The festival will return to Wingham Showground on October 18 to 20 and includes 30 artists across the genres of jazz, funk, acoustic, rock and country.
Joining Bennett in the third announcement are Afro Moses, Beating Hearts Club, Fat Picnic, Josh Needs, Kris Morris and Josh Dufficy, Leanne Paris Band, Miniq, Ruby Blunt, Southern Hold, The Trapps, Vena Klymo and Wingsong Choir.
Last week Bennett released his third album This Time Tomorrow, which features the single Gypsy Love.
Bennett will launch the record at 48 Watt Street's Small Ballroom on September 22, before heading north to Wingham following the end of his four-date album tour.
Australian rock-blues legend Diesel will headline Akoostik Festival, alongside Kris Morris of Eagle and The Wolf and Josh Dufficy of Grizzlee Train and Kasey Chambers' band.
The pair will perform an exclusive set together for the first time.
This lineup is by far our most extensive yet.

Other artists scheduled to perform include 19-Twenty, Golden Guitar-winner Andrew Swift, Angus Gill, Blake O'Connor, Blues Arcadia, Colin Lillie, Hat Fitz and Cara, Hudson Rose, Hussy Hicks, Leanne Paris Band, Lloyd Spiegel, Mark Oats and Matt Zarb.
"This lineup is by far our most extensive yet," Akoostik Festival director Donna Ballard says.
"The Akoostik team love to travel far and wide, we check out the best acts and bring them back home for your enjoyment."
Applications are still open for volunteers, through the event website, to assist at the grassroots festival.
"We always need more help to make the festival the best it can be," Ballard says.
