The Lake Macquarie Running Festival enjoyed gorgeous conditions for its anniversary, which attracted hundreds of runners including marathon star Steve Moneghetti.
The festival offers a four-kilometre scamper for children, a 10.5 kilometre fun run and a half-marathon.
The anniversary also shone a spotlight on the local legends who have competed in 10 or more events on a flat course between Warners Bay and Speers Point.
They included Alan McCloskey, who marked his 100th half-marathon with a gallop on Sunday.
Vlad Shatrov claimed line honours in the half-marathon, finishing with a net time of one hour, 11 minutes and one second.
Felicity Gamble was the first woman to finish in one hour, 28 minutes and four seconds.
Guy Walters' 33 minutes and 23 seconds made him first to finish in the 10.5km fun run. Jessica Noble (40 minutes 49 seconds) led the women.
