The first call out to the Island Motocross Track at Nerong came about 2pm.
Emergency services treated a 37-year-old man at the scene for head and chest injuries before he was flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
Just before 3.30pm emergency teams were called back to the venue for a second motorbike crash.
The patient, believed to be a man in his late 40s, was stabilised before being flown to John Hunter Hospital for further treatment.
