A former civilian police employee has been charged over alleged firearms offences as part of a Strike Force Raptor investigation into the alleged supply of prohibited drugs and guns.

Alan James Cumberland, 44, was arrested at a Medowie home on Thursday afternoon and charged with two counts of acquiring a prohibited firearm subject to a prohibition order.
Mr Cumberland did not apply for bail - and it was formally refused - when he appeared at Raymond Terrace local court on Friday.
He will face court again on September 16.
Police allege Mr Cumberland handled an M1 carbine semi-automatic rifle and an air rifle at a property in the state's Southern Highlands region in June.
The charges came after a search warrant was executed at a Bundanoon home on July 3, where police seized nine rifles, including an M1 carbine semi-automatic rifle.
Two men - aged 33 and 65 - were charged at the time and remain before the courts.
Police said on Friday Strike Force Raptor's investigation into alleged supply of prohibited drugs and firearms across NSW was ongoing.
