Brittany and her mother-in-law Keren used to manage a Plus Fitness in Mt Druitt before making the move up north to open their own gym. They say the contrast between the two is stark.
"It's really incredible here," Brittney said.
"Everytime we get a new member come in, they always look around and say 'Oh, wow such and such is here'. They all know each other. There's just a lovely sense of community..." she continued.
"We also have members of all ages. Our youngest members are 14 and our oldest is 83. So, we're not targeting one type of person, we're here for everyone."
Plus Fitness Belmont is a 24 hour gym with no lock in contacts. Membership also gives you access to both Plus Fitness in Warner's Bay and Marketown.
At a whopping 700 square meters, the gym is also spacious and comfortable to workout in. They have state of the art equipment. In fact they even have a functional workout cage and a 25m dual-sled/running track.
