Inside you'll find Newcastle's friendliest indoor sport and fitness centre with some of the best offerings in town, including Genesis Health and Fitness, Coaching Zone and Ninja Parc.
The Parc houses the ninth Genesis Health and Fitness facility in the empire of founder John Pirlo, who opened the first Genesis in Maitland in 2008 with the vision to #inspireaworldofmovement. It joins Mayfield, Maitland, Coffs Harbour, Toormina, Rutherford, Charlestown, Warners Bay and Cessnock.
Genesis Health and Fitness also now boasts Australia's most progressive group personal training program, Coaching Zone. Available at The Parc, the 45-minute group training program caters to all fitness levels and includes heart rate technology, a world-class nutrition portal and supportive, highly-trained coaches.
Expanding The Parc's offering beyond a gym and group personal training is the seasonal indoor sports competitions. "With netball, cricket, soccer, futsal and basketball, there's something for all members of the community," Regional Business Manager Dave McGillion said.
"Our newest addition, Ninja Parc is helping take this even further, offering a way for adults and kids, as well as families to get moving; with fitness classes (including Parkour), casual passes, kids birthday parties andschool holiday clinics. The purchase of the Howzat building fuelled the inspiration to create Ninja Parc in Australia, with Climb Parc [climbing walls] following this."
Ninja Parc is a ninja warrior style indoor obstacle course which is now being franchised across Australia with a site recently opening in Townsville, and more to follow later in the year.
The Parc offers a range of packages including:
- Genesis Health and Fitness 7-day guest pass: A complimentary pass for first-time users to discover their health and fitness training program.
- Coaching Zone 6-week Challenge: Six weeks of unlimited group personal training, nutrition plans, goal setting and one-on-one coaching.
- Indoor Sports: Meet new people or join as a team, a variety of sports to choose from with registrations July 15 still open.
- Ninja Parc: Unleash your inner Ninja with a free class pass.
