Direction has straightened up favouring the northern facing breaks and reefs. Swell from the south to south-east at 1 to 2m. Wind light north to north-west shifting to the south late. Full tide for the early with reefs at Flatrock, Bar Beach and Merewether okay. Dixon and Nobbys on run-out tide. Redhead, Frenchmans and Catho to the south. Birubi and One Mile up at Port Stephens. Sweeps running south and rips in southern corners. Water temperature 16C. -Dave Anderson

Seas Around 1 metre, up to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore in the morning. 1st Swell South to southeasterly 1.5 to 2 metres, down to 1 to 1.5 metres in the morning, then tending southerly around 1 metre at midday. 2nd Swell Southeasterly 1 to 1.5 metres, down to 1 metre at midday.
