PLEASING RESULT: The Red Eye team bask in glory after their success at the 2019 MBA Awards last Friday.

Red Eye Constructions & Interiors saluted in two categories at the 2019 MBA Awards for work done on the $5.2 million expansion project at Brokenwood Wines, Pokolbin.

Based at Berkeley Vale on the Central Coast, Red Eye won for Best Commercial Projects - Under $5 Million; and Best Use of Timber.

The project involved building a new cellar door, restaurant and museum for the vineyard.

General Manager Michael Robertson said the two awards collectively represent what can happen when you walk beside your partners.

"We really want to acknowledge our outstanding partnership with the Brokenwood board of directors, and to Villa & Villa Architects, for having the trust and faith in Red Eye to deliver their vision," Michael said.

"Also our appreciation to Dean Hay and Top Gun Carpentry Contractors who provided the high-level skill needed to help create the look and feel of the building.

"And of course, a big thanks to Red Eye's incredible team for their expertise and dedication across the whole process to deliver another project of excellence.

"This kind of industry recognition at the MBA Awards, and working with Brokenwood, really reflects how a great partnership can create an even greater result.

"We're really proud of this project and also to have our efforts recognised in this year's awards."

With a $50 million annual turnover, and a highly professional construction team of over 50 individuals with diverse skill sets, Red Eye has delivered major building and fit-out projects across New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.

The company has expanded in recent times with the appointment of Mark Perry as Design Manager and Tom Ryan who is responsible for Interiors Delivery and Project Management.

The expansion is in response to an increase in demand to provide an all-inclusive approach to creating quality building projects and enables the company to deliver professional design, refurbishment and fit-out services for interior projects between $250,000 to $2 million.

"With our proven construction and buildability pedigree, Red Eye Interiors perfectly positions our point of difference by offering specific design expertise attached to every project we undertake," Michael said.

"This is further supported by having joinery and electrical trade services in-house, giving us far greater control over costs and programming when compared to using external sub-contractors.

"We're able to keep our promises on cost control and project delivery whether it's for big construction jobs or separate design and construct fit-outs - or both together."
