$2.5 million guide for luxurious property at 106 Kilaben Road, Kilaben Bay
An absolute waterfront property at Kilaben Bay has attracted widespread interest ahead of its October auction, according to LJ Hooker Toronto's Paul Campbell.
Mr Campbell is marketing the luxurious lakeside home at 106 Kilaben Road, which is set on over three-quarters of an acre of land.
It is set for an in-room auction on October 3 and has a guide of $2.5 million.

"It's 3200 square metres, so over three-quarters of an acre, of level land, there's five-car garaging, executive single-level home, boat shed, slipway, deep water," Mr Campbell said.
"We've had reasonable interest and a real nice mix of interest with people from Sydney, local, Dubbo and up the valley."
There are water views from the master suite and open plan kitchen and living, which extend to a covered alfresco area. The property has a resort-like swimming pool with a gas-heated infinity spa and an entertaining cabana.
Only a handful of Kilaben Bay properties have sold over $2.5 million, according to Australian Property Monitors data. The last was when $2.7 million was paid for a five-bedroom, four-bathroom residence on over 3000 square metres of land at 56 Kilaben Road in 2017.
Mr Campbell reported buyer activity on the lake had been "busy".
A knockdown home on an absolute waterfront property at 312 Skye Point Road in Coal Point has generated plenty of interest. It is positioned on 1714 square metres of land and believed to be the first brick home built on the Coast Point peninsula.

It is set for auction on October 3 with bidding expected to start at $1 million.
"I've had nearly 40 inspections through that in three open homes, so that's very strong," Mr Campbell said.
"It was built in approximately 1949/1950 and it was reportedly the first brick home on the Coal Point peninsula and in it's day it would have been the bees knees.
"Normally our absolute waterfronts on the western side don't generate that sort of volume. Eastern side of Lake Macquarie - Dilkera, Bareki, Paroo, Ross Street - addresses get big numbers through the opens."
