He is a younger brother to Hank, 20 months, and was born in Newcastle on Wednesday, September 18.
"Our hearts are so full and we cannot believe our luck to have two healthy and happy boys," Britt said on social media today.
"Hank has been an amazing, kind and gentle big brother so far and it's a wonder to see him with a little brother.
"Mum and Dad are great and tired and in baby bubble happiness."
The family are home in Newcastle for the summer, having spent three years travelling Australia in a caravan with beloved dog Rascal in tow, working and gigging along the way.
Britt and family will hit the road again in January for her extensive "bush pubs" tour. The closest to Newcastle she will get is Sandy Hollow Tourist Hotel on February 23, and Flow Bar at Old Bar on March 7.
Britt, who was famously "discovered" by Elton John as a teen and overcame breast cancer, has five Golden Guitar Awards to her name, and six of her seven albums released to date have been nominated for Best Country Album release at the ARIAs. In 2010, she was also presented with the CMA Global Artist of the Year award.
Her first acoustic EP, CMC Songs & Stories, is released on October 18. It is available for pre-order now however the songs Swinging Door and Hillbilly Pickin' Ramblin' Girl - and their videos - have already been released. And, armed with a swag of songs penned while on the road, she hopes to record a new album later this year.
