The annual Harbour2Vine Cycle Classic will be held on Sunday, October 27, and is a fundraiser for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. There is a 58km course and a 1km children's ride around Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley. The event kicks off at Rydges Newcastle at 6.30am with a pre-race breakfast and briefing, and ends at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley with a BBQ for riders and their families. There will be two rest stops along the way with full refreshments. Entry is $84 for adults, inclusive of the ride, snacks and lunch, and $20 for children taking part in the 1km ride, which also includes lunch. Full details as well as bookings at harbour2vine.com.au
