One day down the track, probably sooner rather than later, Hamilton-Wickham off-spinner Kain Anderson will need to make a choice.

However, for the time being, the Hunter Sports High School year 12 student is happy enough floating between seasons - cricket in summer and rugby league in winter.
"I'll have to make a decision at some stage," 17-year-old Anderson said.
"I like being able to play both at the moment because it helps break up the seasons.
"You hear some people say they get sick of either cricket or footy because that's the only spot they play."
Coming off a campaign donning the boots as fullback for Central's under 17s, and previously some Knights junior summer squads, Anderson has set his sights upon 2019-2020.
HSC exams may be on the horizon, but Anderson remains focused on improving Hamwicks' impressive showing from last season.
The Pumas made finals in all three formats, were crowned Tom Locker Cup (one-day) champions and claimed minor premiership status at the end of regular competition.
But having lost the two-day and T20 deciders, Anderson is determined to make it a clean sweep this time around.
"It was a good season, but be didn't quite get the cake," he said.
"We made three grand finals but only won one. Hopefully we can go two better and get all three this season. That's the plan anyway."
Anderson is approaching his fourth summer at Passmore Oval, joining the senior ranks from junior club Swansea.
He said it was a connection between his older brothers, Cameron and Grant, and Hamwicks opener Dave Stevenson that sealed the switch.
Now, having played more of a role in the first XI last season and taking 33 wickets across all three formats, he can't imagine being anywhere else across the Newcastle District Cricket Association.
"There's not too many clubs like this," Anderson, who works casually as a Cricket NSW development officer as well as labouring for skipper Matt Webber, said.
"We joke around together off the field, but as soon as we walk through that gate everybody just switches on.
"It's a big thing that balance."
One such example was Anderson's mullet-style haircut during 2018-19, dubbed by some teammates as the worst in the competition.
"I got a haircut not long ago and the boys reckon I look too responsible now," he said.
Hamwicks start their Tom Locker Cup defence away to Waratah on Saturday after last weekend's opening round was washed out.
