LaneCampos have two new listings that agent Roland Campos says will appeal to this area of the market. They have an updated art deco house for sale with a guide of $595,000 to $650,000 at 65 Scholey Street in Mayfield. It is open for inspection for the first time today at 10.15am.
The home is on a level block 442 square metres in size and has original period features and three bedrooms with a sunroom off the master.
But Mr Campos said the "rare find for Mayfield" was a freestanding double lock-up garage.
It is walking distance to cafes, schools, the TAFE, Islington park and the harbour foreshore.
LaneCampos will also open 5 Winchester Street in Mayfield for the first time today at 11.15am. The updated two-bedroom house is on a 304 square metre block and has a guide of $530,000 to $570,000 and is positioned in what Mr Campos described as "the most sought-after private pocket in Mayfield".
"Winchester is a wide, tree-lined street tucked quietly away from the village centre but still walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shopping," he said.
Recent sales in Mayfield under $650,000 include $610,000 for a four-bedroom brick house at 19 Ackeron Street and $535,000 for a renovated three-bedroom cottage at 33 William Street.
