SWEET RECORD
GUNS N'Roses fans sure love watching YouTube. The LA rock legends became the first act to register one billion views for a music video made in the '80s this week when their 1987 classic Sweet Child O' Mine clocked past the magical milestone.
It follows their 1992 epic November Rain becoming the first, and as yet only, music video from the '90s to crack one billion views on YouTube in 2018. It's since been viewed 1.2 billion times.
KISS SUPPORT
IT'S less than a month before USA heavyweights KISS kick-off their final Australian tour and they have whet the appetite of fans by naming a star-studded support crew for their rock'n'roll circus.
Legs Electric (Perth), The Superjesus (Adelaide), Dallas Crane, Rival Fire, Dead City Ruins, (Melbourne), Screaming Jets (Newcastle), Palace Of The Kings (Sydney) and The Poor (Brisbane) will support Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and co on their eight-leg tour, which begins on November 16.
HALSEY DROPS IN FOR ARIA AWARDS
THE ARIA Awards are often criticised for failing to attract serious star power. That won't be the case this year with New Jersey pop sensation Halsey confirmed to perform at the Australian music industry's night of nights on November 27.
Halsey commands an audience of 38.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and her track Without You reached No.1 on the US Billboard charts in 2018 and No.2 in Australia.
