Lambton Jaffas recruit Mitch Oxborrow won the Graham Jennings Medal as the Northern NSW NPL player of the year on Friday night after his first full season in the competition.

The 24-year-old midfielder played all but one game in Broadmeadow's NPL season, scoring eight goals and setting up several others.
The former Newcastle Jets, Perth Glory and Brisbane A-League player had six games for Broadmeadow in 2017 and 11 in 2018, in between a season with the Roar, but he was a mainstay for Magic this year.
Broadmeadow, who won the grand final with Oxborrow in their line-up in 2018, finished fourth this year and lost to Maitland in the semi-finals on the away goals rule.
Oxborrow, who has since signed with Jaffas for 2020, beat Newcastle Jets Youth goalkeeper Noah James, Lambton striker Braedyn Crowley, Lake Macquarie midfielder Daniel Minors and Maitland winger Ryan Clarke to the second annual Graham Jennings Medal at the Northern NSW Football awards at Newcastle Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The prize is decided on a 1-5 vote from coaches on the best player from the opposing side each match.
Crowley was recognised as the leading scorer after netting 14 goals in the regular season.
Maitland's Mick Bolch was voted in as coach of the year by his peers after taking the Magpies to their maiden first-division premiership and grand final.
The former Hamilton and Phoenix coach also led the club to the round of 32 in the FFA Cup for the first time.
Hamilton were named NPL club of the year, an award judged on a wide-ranging criteria.
Charlestown's Riley McNaughton, who will return to Jaffas next season, won goal of the year, while Valentine Kaelan Burke was rookie of the year.
Nathan Archbold (Charlestown) received the Bill Mahoney goalkeeper of the year award, which is given to the gloveman with the most clean sheets.
Referees of the year were Ryan Gallagher, Eleanor Hayes (female) and Connor Markovich (youth).
Football Mid North Coast chairman Michael Parsons took home the coveted Bill Turner award for dedication to the sport.
The second-division Northern League One had a player of the year award for the first time and Kahibah's Rhys Tippett was the winner.
The former NNSW State League player of the year edged out Clayton Poole, Greg Anderson, Ash Balcombe and Ty Goldsmith for the honour.
Belmont Swansea were named club of the year.
Mick Stafford was coach of the year after taking Belmont Swansea to grand final victory.
West Wallsend's Tye Jones was acknowledged as leading scorer with 18 goals.
